Tran Luong (1960) Hanoi, around 1990 a member of the innovative ‘Gang of Five’; exhibited in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Yokohama, Karlsruhe, Singapore and New York; inspires young painters not to go commercial; creates water color on ‘dö’ paper with a very subtle result, video-installations, objects and oil on canvas; particularly abstract fantasies from childhood with a fascination for the underwater world.
